Once I was at a public well to get some water, a young boy
bent over trying to draw out water, soon I heard a sound, his fetcher had fallen
into the well it seem so dramatic to me
such an amazing sight I was seeing what no other person could see. For a moment
I thought to myself this is a representation of life, the well represents a
source, many people are at the well with nothing to fetch. No matter the
goodness in the well it can not bless you or make a change in your life until
you have recognize what you have no matter what you have lost.
God has never created any man to be stranded in life, no
matter how poor you think you you are you have something, something worth
celebrating, in you lies potentials, ideas, gifting that you never may have
discovered. Life will always pose questions at you but what you have is the
answer to the puzzle of life, the gold and precious treasure you have been
searching for.
Many times we live in denial of the reality of our
potentials because of the challenges we see and experienced. All through the
scripture, God has never rain down money from heaven.
In fact in heaven money is not spent. God will
only use what you have to bless you. Without the five loaf of bread and two
fishes there would never have been any multiplication that could feed five
thousand men, excluding women and children. You have something! Don’t denial it,
you are blessed with potentials and possibilities that that the world is yet to
see. God is not a magician so he cannot bless you without using what you have.
What you have is the medium and a channel that God will use to increase you.
So what do you have?
The woman with the issue of blood had faith, she could no
longer speak to any man but herself, she believed in her heart and she was healed. The widow had a jar of oil she had initial condemned and look down upon
like many of us do today. She borrowed vessels, poured the oil that multiplied
and became a source with which she paid her debt and live with her sons for the
rest of her life. The other woman had a piece of braed she was going to eat and
die. What kind of food was that? How can God give you what will kill you? I impossible!
God is not an author of confusion, the moment she recognized what
she had and rightly maximized it she never lacked till the end of famine.
Guess what? What you have is what will sustain you and keep you in abundance
when others are experiencing famine. Jacob had portage with which he
transacted for his brother’s birthright. Moses had a rod, he cried to God for
help, God was helpless He cried back to Moses saying what do you have in your
hand? A piece of rod” He said but that was all he need ed to part the red sea.
Many time we are waiting for God to part the red seas of our lives but He is
also waiting for us to part it ourselves. David had a stone, that was all he needed to kill Goliath, so what do you have?
If all you have is a voice, a skill, a talent, a connection,
a vision, that’s all you need. What you have is self sufficient to take care of
your needs and make you who you were created to be.
HOW DO YOU DISCOVER WHAT YOU HAVE?
(
1)
God, he put it in there and he can show you when
you pray and earnestly talk to him.
(
2)
Look within: Many times we are tempted to look everywhere else for solution except within us, realize that with you lies
potentials and abilities you are yet to discover that’s why I never tell
people I cant do it when am given a task, I go ahead and begin to ask how can I
do it?
(
3)
Ask yourself questions: The day you begin to
learn to question yourself if the day your creativity will begin to flow like
a mighty ocean. What do you really have passion for? What is it that you do
effortlessly that other people call work? What is it that people always run to
you to help them with? These and many more might just be a clue to discovering
what you have.
(
4)
Love: what do you love doing so much that you
really can’t stop, you find so much pleasure in and it positively impact other
people? For me I love writing, I don’t see it as work, its my passion, my
calling, the more I write the more I have to write, that’s my edge cause what
you have is your edge, discover it, work and build on it and maximize it.
Remember, you are nothing until you
discover what you have, even if it looks ugly there is beauty in ugliness how
you see it is what matter. Determine today to make the most with what you have
and stop complaining about what you don’t have. Focus on what you have and
ignore what you don’t have that’s the only time you will begin to enjoy abundance and grace the will stand you out in your generation.
Now that you know what you have, make the most of it, in it lies your gold mine. This article is written by EZEKIEL MOSES, send us an E-mail: changeentertainments@gmail.com, or call: 23177 5597 336 we love to hear from you!
