KEHINDE BANKOLE BY EZEKIEL MOSES

Kehinde Bankole is one of the lead actresses in the ongoing Super Story, of the famous Wale Adenuga Productions. She started her acting career in the church as a teenager before her professional acting career started, Kehinde Bankole is fast becoming sought-after.

She is a graduate of Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Kenny (as she is fondly called), is having a wonderful time as an actress.

Unlike several other contemporaries of actress, Kehinde Bankole, is a lady who has achieved fame through a dint of hard work, persistence and determination to be independent and make money rather than living off her parents even at a young age of 16.
She set out to make money while in the second year of her senior secondary school but got fame as well doing what she now enjoys more than anything else.
In an interview with CHANGE ENTERTAINMENT She said, “I actually set out to make money, but I've become famous. I've encountered inspiration, attained knowledge, and my mind has been broadened. I started out wanting just to make money but I've learnt about the beauty of the art and it's priceless. Nobody can pay you for your art or what you can do. I think I was in SSS 2 when I decided that this is what I wanted to do."

 


During her early days in the Movie Industry, she played lead roles in other series of the soap.
According to her, “This should be the fourth time I am featuring in Super Story. The camera is not really strange to me. Since I started, I have been playing major roles in Super Story.”

Kenny said the experience had impacted positively on her life.
“I learnt how to tolerate people because we were all together on location. I learnt to understand other people’s views, and I learnt to work with other people. There was no problem at all working with them. I have discovered that it is even better when the whole attention is not solely on you; it makes things more interesting.”

But the damsel said the experience had been very tedious as well. “We have to combine the other things we are doing in our normal lives, with acting. It makes it a bit tough, but it is okay. I am not complaining.”
Kenny revealed that she had been embarrassed a number of times because of the roles she played in the movies. She gave an instance.

“I was at a friend’s birthday bash, I was eating and then this woman came and hit me from behind. She shouted, ‘Caro! What you did to that man wasn’t good at all!’
“She was still hitting me. Because she was an elderly woman, I couldn’t say anything. I tried to tell her to take it easy, but she was still hitting me. People were just looking at me. It took a while before they realized that the woman meant the role I played in a movie.”

For her this is one of the prizes one pays for fame. Since her emergence in the movie industry Kehinde Bankole is fast becoming a house hold name.
