"THE AFRICAN WOMAN" WRITTEN BY EZEKIEL MOSES

Black and bold, black and beautiful, elegant and strong, the delight of human race. A daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an entrepreneur a helper beyond description. This is the African Woman, pride among her  peers. The African Woman is an example of a visionary leader, she is a jewel, precious in the sight of her husband and children.

From time immemorial women have always been a major factor and decision makers in the society.  Leaders by example, risk takers who will sacrifice herself and her comfort, her pleasure for the benefit of others. Her sacrifice is undeniable more than words can say, more than the mind can phantom, smooth and soft, fragile and delicate, yet stronger than the mind can imagine, the African woman is a queen, her home is her palace, her manners her respect, so industrious a pillar to her husband, children family and society.

A tour to the market will convince you of the immense power of wealth multiplication in the African Woman. She is so blessed turns stone to gold. When all else fails and hope seems lost, her husband seems broke, she puts away her shame make sacrifice for her home, she rather wears rag than look good when her children can’t afford school fees, the African woman is an embodiment of creativity, love and respect. A major contributor to national and global economy, can you find a successful industry without contributions from the African Woman?

Behind every successful man they say is a successful woman. She is an expression of excellence, a rising star, strong and beautiful. The African woman is a model to all women around the world. A home maker with gracefulness, kind and loving full of hope. The African Woman is a song of hope that forever does not fade away, through the pain, hurt, trial, infidelity she stands strong behind her husband, even when deserted her respect for matrimony knows no bound.

Many injustice against her, gender inequality, rape, diseases, mortality risk at child birth yet the African Woman stands strong a survival she is full of hope, never giving up full of courage she goes through her pain with hope of a light at the end of the tunnel. Fearless and courageous like Moremi Ajasoro of the ancient Oyo Empire who risked her life, went to the city of the Igbo raiders over powered the enemies and delivered her country from the ravaging enemies who took her people captive, she save her people by her bravery, what the timid men could not do.

She is the African Woman, SHE IS MY MOTHER like the great poet EZEKIEL MOSES wrote about in his appreciation to the person of the woman. A breeder of life who stands to protect her children like the eagle protect her chicks from the ravaging eagle. Look for her at the party, there she stands, even if you refuse to celebrate her. The African Woman is a carrier and preserver of culture and tradition, even as a widow, molested, called a witch or accused of killing her beloved husband, The African Woman stands, even if she lost all that rightfully belong to her for selfish traditions and customs she is full of hope ready to stand by her children and make her life worth living.

What else can I say, what more can I do to thank these breed of mothers, full of grace and hope, the African Woman a light, a symbol of peace, victimized but still standing. Who said she can’t be a leader? Ellen Johnson Sirleaf proves you wrong, First Elected Female President in Africa “SHE IS MY MOTHER, THE AFRICAN WOMAN” a light to her world, more than words can say or the mouth can describe.

Where ever you, are stand up, join me to celebrate these special breed of God’s creation THE AFRICAN WOMAN she stands out in all race, come rain come shine, forever you will be remembered our pride, our joy our strength and together we say all hail THE AFRICAN WOMAN!
