SHE IS MY MOTHER BY EZEKIEL MOSES
She is my mother
A breeder of destiny
She is my mother
In her womb I lay nine months
So much we share, more than the mouth can say
So much she bore, sweet and bitter pain
Sacrifice she made, sacrifice so costly
With the heart she loves
With the hand she corrects
From her lips are instructions
Instructions that made me, me
She is my mother
Valued and virtues
Woman of grace woman of honor
Woman so kind, woman of character
In sickness in pain, by me she stood
The future she saw, when no one else believed
She is my mother twice the size of a man
She is my mother, not just a woman
She is my mother faithful till the end
Money may fail
Memories may fade away
But a song of strength and courage you always will be
She is my mother, many times alone she cries
She is my mother together we weather the storm
She is my mother the wife and lover of my father
She is my mother my first teacher and bedrock for my education
She is my mother day and night she pray
Leader by example, my mother
My mother and cover
A woman of honor truly you are.
This poem is SPECIALLY dedicated to my beautiful wife: Mrs. YEMISI MOSES, all MOTHERS around the world and to every one who celebrate their mother. "SHE IS MY MOTHER" is written by EZEKIEL MOSES, it was inspired by a painting at Cachelle Creative Arts Center Art Gallery and specially dedicated to you!
