TENESIS THE HUMAN SAXOPHONE: BY EZEKIEL MOSES

Hello and welcome to CHANGE ENTERTAINMENT my name is EZEKIEL MOSES I’m your regular host on this blog. Today I have with me one of the most creative and talented personality I have met in Liberia, Sir can you please introduce yourself?

TENESIS: My name is Tarpeh TENESIS Targbeh, I was born and raised in Liberia, I am a lover of music and a music artist. I recorded my first album in 2007, a typical Liberian cultural gospel music with a group called Soul Brothers. A few years ago I worked with Bishop Creflo Dollar Ministries, Franklin Graham, All Live Liberian Festival 2011 and many ministries locally and internationally.

How did your journey into music begin?

TENESIS: As a little boy at twelve years old, I use to be the head of the music team in my church. My first time on stage was 1995, I was leading a song about the Prodigal Son. It was an awesome experience for me, during my high school I was the lead auto singer singing along with senior students who were in the same group as I. It was a campus based acapella music, and we went from concert to concert.

I became a rapper at High School, I was a rapper going from show to show during the civil crisis in Liberia. The love of music kept me going amidst the bullets and killings taking place in Liberia then but today I am still standing although my music style is totally different from what many people all around the world is used to today.

How did you discover your unique music talent?

TENESIS: My music style is what I call the “natural saxophone” produced without any musical instrument but with the human body just me and the microphone and you will be shocked the quality of sound you will hear.

I used to listen to a lot of Jazz music and I try to mimic them. My parents and siblings used to complain those days. My first performance was in a mass choir of about 500 people, I was trying to sound check and people were really thrilled at the Creflo Dollar Crusade we were preparing for. After that I was invited to a church programme where I tested my human saxophone for the first time. Afterwards, I began to receive a lot of invitation to weddings, concerts and people keep testifying about the inspiration they received then I’m on stage.

What separates your music from others?

What makes me distinct is the incredible sound and exactness of sound I produce which the real saxophone produces. The real saxophone has the ability to store air so do I, the scales which you can run on a saxophone instrument is what I produce with my hands and mouth. One of the amazing things that I believe is my edge is the high notes, pitch, and sales that I run with my hands and mouth. I have never been to a music school before in my life. This is just a natural talent and a blessing from God to impact my generation.

What is the next level in your musical career?

TENESIS: I am working towards getting a larger audience, I am working on my first saxophone album which I believe may never have happened before in human history. My talent is such that when I’m on stage I do what many people may not be able to do even with the wood wind musical instrument. I am looking forward to doing music internationally and touching lives with my music. I believe I am fulfilling prophesy and the scriptures which says “let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”

What is your greatest dream and word to your fans?

My greatest dream is to be able to establish myself in the music industry internationally. I want people to have confidence in what I do, and am looking forward to training people to be able to use their natural talent in making distinct melodies and music that the world will appreciate and music that will blessing lives and bring glory to God.

To all my fans I want to say thank you for believing in me. I am working hard daily to meet your expectations, so that whenever you listen to my music you can be inspired to worship and praise God. I’m really excited about your encouragement which is a motivation to me to do better in fulfilling this call.

What do you want say to young folks all over the world who want to be like you, and be able to use their natural talent to bless others?

I'd like to say to them that all things are possible. Everyone is born with a gift and talent, it takes determination and perseverance get it out. Once you have discovered it keep polishing it and read more about what you truly want to become and you can be the best in anything you really desire to be.

What would like to say to CHANGE ENTERTAINMENT?

TENESIS: I really want to say “Big up” to CHANGE ENTERTAINMENT and EZEKIEL MOSES for exposing my talent to the world, I believe this is the beginning of new things. If you are out there and want to get to the world, CHANGE ENTERTAINMENT is the place to be to get the publicity and recognition you are looking for. This is my first mega international e-marketing company that has taken a big interest in me and I really want to say thank you.

EZEKIEL MOSES: All right people this is where we call it a day, it’s been a great time with TENESIS, this is a man you need to listen to. I have been at his ministrations and you would not believe the quality of sound you hear, is made with just hands and mouth. A major thing that gets me off my feet is the anointing that you experience at his ministration, so if you are looking for the next legend of Gospel Jazz Music or Instrumentals stop the search cause TENESIS is here to stay.
