TAKE RESPONSIBILITY by EZEKIEL MOSES

What makes you a leader is not your big title, your ability to talk about big dreams but your ability to take up leadership responsibility that will affect others positively. Many young leaders have mastered the art of talking about their dreams and neglect diligence in walking the dreams so it can become a reality.

What makes the difference in life and distinguishes you as a leader are your actions in line with your words. People may not respect what you say but everybody respects what you do or what you are doing that positively affects their lives. Gone are the days when we wait to be elected before being responsible for a particular thing. Now is the time when every man should be awakened to their responsibilities which is the foundation of your leadership.

The easiest way to become a leader is not by dreaming to become one but by taking up responsibility in line with your visions. People naturally submit to people who they feel are responsible for them.

I always imagine a nation, family or organization where every man or woman is awakened to their responsibility that would be a nation of peace and tranquility, full of bliss, blessings and uncommon prosperity.

We have stayed long enough blaming others for our failure, poverty or bad conditions. Nobody is more responsible for your life than you are. You alone hold the steering wheel of your life and only you can direct it in the direction it should go.

As a man, you are the head and leader of your home. What stands you out is taking responsibility for your home and being a good example for others to follow. As a woman you have a responsibility as well, life or marriage is about partnership and responsibility towards achieving a common goal and purpose.
Purpose, vision and leadership are all about responsibility. Talking and complaining will not get us anywhere but willingness to accept responsibility is what leads to success.

As a leader the best thing you can do for yourself is accept responsibility for your life. Waiting for others to do what you should do only leads to failure. No other person can be more mindful of your vision and destiny but you. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else. If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.

No man desires greatness and ignores responsibility, no man ever wills to succeed and resolve to a life of complacency. You can truly be anything you want and desire to be in life if you are will to pay the price of being responsible.

Take a minute and imagine why there is so much ills in our society, corruption and poverty than one could ever imagine. Reason is simple; we neglect what could be the solution to the needs of our society. Neglecting responsibility always leads to regret and poverty.  One thing I have learned about life is that you will always have to pay the price. It is either you pay now and play later or you play now and play later. Thus taking responsibility is paying the price for greatness and great leaders are always willing to pay the price to secure the future for others and their nation as well.

What makes you distinct and distinguished as a leader is your ability to take up responsibility that others despise.
True success or leadership does not come by wishes or manipulations, but paying the sacrifice of doing what others are not willing to do. Taking up tasks and duties that other shy away from, being the provider of solutions others refuse to find, this is the key to uncommon accomplishment and success in life or career.

One thing I have discovered is that we are made wise not by the recollection of the past but by taking responsibility for the future. What you do each day counts, every day presents you with an opportunity to do better and become better.
Life is too precious to be wasted, therefore refuse to live a wasted life. Life is a gift, and it offers us privileges, opportunities and responsibilities to give something back by becoming more. Many people sometimes think that responsibility makes you lesser which is contrary to true realities because responsibility makes you more.

The more responsible you become the more trust and success you’ll earn. It’s no longer time to wait and depend on others now is the time to wake up to your responsibility and become your dream. Now is the time to be awakened to the realities of your responsibilities because the more you ignore it the more consequences you may have to bear.
