THE ENEMY CALLED PROCRASTINATION by EZEKIEL MOSES

The reason I failed?
Yes I lived in wish
Oh I wish, I would, I could…even the things I could have done
Fold my arms, sleep and say tomorrow
What I ought today to do
But yesterday I waited today
Which tomorrow now becomes

Thought I told you about my enemy
Not from the village as you’d think
But from within such I must fight and win
Enemy called procrastination
To succeed this I must fight and win
And do today what I must do

I wish, I would, I could, oh! I’ll do
Leads to failure and regret
Journey of a thousand miles
With a step it all begins
Think it, plan it, pursue it, and achieve it
Such is the story of success
Success or failure is a choice

Nothing’s impossible if you’d try
Only thing for which you fear
Procrastination a thief of time
Life is measured even in time
Start again if I’ve to start
Not a failure except I quit
Everyday new hope it brings
For those who’d do what they’ll do
Will become what they are born to be
Kill the enemy called procrastination
So your future it won’t kill
No more failure, pain or regret
Cause I’ll rise and do it now
