STAND OUT (POETRY) WRITTEN BY EZEKIEL MOSES

Born as light to shine

Made the salt of the earth

Different, distinguished, separated

Stand alone from the crowd

The way that seemth right majority would go

But to standout, I must, I stand alone

In my waiting in him my strength relay

No matter what I dare to stand alone

My friends are gone my shame they all may see

But hope, it maketh not shame

Through the pain through the hurt, alone I’ll stand

Generations unborn will live to tell the tale

Patient dog sometimes no bone to crack

Many tears and questions, answers? I don’t HAVE

No matter how long patiently I’ll wait

Those who stand will surely see the light

It’s a norm but normal? I’m not

Chosen, peculiar, holy nation I am

Made a wisdom to me, to reign

That through me His light will reach the world

Like the SMA’s in Babylon I’ll stand (Shadrack, Mishack and Abadnago)

Even in the den the fourth man with me will be

He never leaves neither forsakes his own

All who dare to standout surely will win

Let the music play

Let the sound be heard

Let the barren sing

Let the hope rise again

In my waiting I’m not alone

Weeping endures for a night

Stand out? Joy in the morning comes

Priestly and virtuous?

Standout to shine the light
